Simms Wader Warranty
At Simms, we stand behind the quality of our products. If your gear fails due to a defect in workmanship or materials, we’ll repair or replace it and get you back on the water as quickly as possible. Failures due to excessive wear, accidents (such as barbed wire or campfire damage), or natural material breakdown over time, we’ll make every effort to repair your gear for a reasonable fee.
Wader Warranty Coverage
- 60-Day Replacement: If your waders leak within 60 days of purchase, we’ll replace them.
- 365-Day Free Repair: We’ll repair your waders at no cost within the first year.
- Beyond One Year: Repairs start at $60.
Where to Start Your Claim
- Purchased Directly from Simms
Visit our Repair & Warranty page to start your claim. You are responsible for shipping your waders to Simms; we cover return shipping. - Purchased from an Authorized Dealer (North America)
Return your waders to the dealer with your original receipt or proof of purchase. They’ll assist with your warranty claim. - Purchased Outside the U.S. or Canada
Contact the dealer where you purchased your product for international warranty terms.
Warranty & Repair Process
- Complete the Warranty and Repair Form online.
- Include clear photos and detailed descriptions of the issue.
- If needed, we’ll ask you to send your product for inspection.
- For repairs, provide credit card information on the form to avoid delays.
- If your product qualifies for warranty, no fees will be charged.
Repair Pricing
- General Wader Repair: $60
- Wader Repair with Stocking Feet: $100
- Boot/Bootfoot Repair: Up to $150
- Jacket Repair: Up to $15
- Nipper Blade Replacement: $25
Shipping Instructions
- Ship items dry, clean, and free of mold or mildew.
Wet or contaminated products will be returned at your expense. - Include your Repairs Case Number clearly on the box.
- Remove all personal items and accessories (fly boxes, belts, cleats, etc.).
- We recommend insurance and tracking for your shipment.
Processing Time
Most warranty or repair orders are completed within 4–6 weeks, depending on season and parts availability. We’ll contact you after assessment with next steps.
If Your Product Qualifies
We may:
- Repair at no cost
- Replace with the same model (if available)
- Provide a comparable replacement if discontinued
- Offer a voucher for simmsfishing.com
Note: Taxes, fees, and shipping costs may apply unless prohibited by law.
What’s Not Covered
- Misuse, abuse, accidents, or negligence
- Mold or mildew
- Failure to follow care instructions
- Rips, cuts, burns, abrasions
- Normal wear and tear
- Cosmetic damage (scratches, fading)
- Unauthorized modifications or repairs
- Products from unauthorized dealers or counterfeit items
Defective or damaged products must be returned for evaluation. Items left unclaimed for 60 days after last contact will be considered abandoned.
